Yarmouth residents are probably most familiar with the support that the Rotary club gives to families who are struggling with the high cost of caring for a disabled child. Every year, with the support of the community, Rotarians contribute thousands of dollars to assist families who require specialized appliances – like wheelchairs, lifts, hearing devices for their children, as well as computers for visually impaired and learning disabled students.

The newest projects related to the environment include the planting of trees in the Rotary Millennium Park and presentation of kitchen equipment to the Rotary Pavilion located in the Municipal Recreation Area.
