Every year, also thanks
to the support of the community, the Rotary Club of Yarmouth, performs these important service activities. Club projects have
included:
- Scholarships,
awarded to deserving graduates of the High School and NSCC Burridge Campus.
- Sponsorship of one high school student to the Adventures in Citizenship program in Ottawa.
- Sponsorship of the Yarmouth High School band with purchase of instruments and
uniforms.
- Major contributor to the Regional Health
Center Expansion.
- Applications for local scholars
toward the prestigious Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship awarded by Rotary International District 7820, (43 clubs).
- Sponsorship of one Rotary International Youth Exchange
program participant annually and the hosting of an international student.
- Hosting of International visitors with the Group Study Exchange program of Rotary’s Foundation.
